This headband should’ve been a slouchy hat which pattern I found on M.I.L.C.H. Schaum blog. The pattern is written in two languages: Swedish and English. One day I will make a hat too, that’s how easy and beautiful it is.
This time I ended up with a headband because I was in a hurry to make my last Christmas present and send it to the future owner. Actually, when I finally heard from them about it, they said that she was looking for one to buy. Yay! It’s mind blowing, how you can guess things like that. I was very happy about it. I especially was happy about the sizing: it fit! If you are a beginner at crocheting you know what I mean. You are always worried about the clothing size, and it’s a great relief when you finally manage to do it right. I’m dancing a little winner’s dance right now 😀
If you decide to make it be sure to measure your head. I just made a chain and put it on my head to see if it ‘s long enough. Sad we don’t have a person by our side every time we make something like that, but it helps if they tell you their head’s measurements. As you can guess, I made it just before Christmas, therefore, I can’t really remember how many times I’ve chained. I know I’ve written it somewhere but couldn’t find my little note anywhere (believe me, I have tons of notes). Also, keep in mind that it depends on your yarn and hook size as well. Nevertheless, I don’t think you will fail, it’s just too easy. I also chose to follow only the first part of her pattern. I did it 8 times. When I was done with my headband I chose big blue buttons and sewed them on the side. Doesn’t it look cute?

It should be warm and nice to wear, and very stylish as well.
